Morningside Menu Delights

Students from Morningside K8 Academy’s fifth-grade class taste and develop poems about prepared dishes from local Haitian restaurants: Chef Creole, Lakay Bar and Restaurant, Piman Bouk, and La Fourchette. After an experiential food tasting lesson, student poems become descriptors for menu items at these local spots, with work featured on to-go containers and in restaurants.
