Angel Nafis & Raymond Antrobus

Angel Nafis is a writer and the author of BlackGirl Mansion (Red Beard Press/ New School Poetics, 2012). She earned her BA at Hunter College and her MFA in poetry at Warren Wilson College. Her work has appeared in The Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-day, BLACK FUTURES, The Rumpus, Poetry Magazine, Buzzfeed Reader and elsewhere. Nafis is a Cave Canem fellow, the recipient of the Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowship, a Creative Writing fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and a Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship. She is the founder and curator of the Greenlight Bookstore Poetry Salon. With poet Morgan Parker, she is The Other Black Girl Collective, an internationally touring Black Feminist poetry duo. She teaches at the low-residency MFA program at Randolph College and lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Jamaican-British writer, poet, and broadcaster Raymond Antrobus is the author of The Perseverance for which he was awarded the Rathbone Folio Prize for best work of literature in any genre. He was also the winner of the Ted Hughes Award, Lucille Clifton Legacy Award, Somerset Maugham Award, a finalist for the Griffin Poetry Prize, Reading the West Book Award, and shortlisted for the Forward Prize. He is also the author of All The Names Given, which was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize 2021, and Can Bears Ski?, a children’s book illustrated by Polly Dunbar. His poems have been published in Poetry Magazine, Poetry Review, Lit Hub, Granta, News Statesman, The Deaf Poets Society, among others.

Jubi Arriola-Headley (he/him) is a Black queer poet, storyteller, first-generation United Statesian, and the author of two collections of poems: ORIGINAL KINK (Sibling Rivalry Press, 2020), recipient of the 2021 Housatonic Award, and BOUND (Persea Books, 2024). He’s currently at work on a collection of essays, an excerpt of which received the 2023 First Pages Prize for Creative Nonfiction. Jubi lives with his husband in South Florida, on ancestral Tequesta, Miccosukee, and Seminole lands

Francess Dunbar is a writer who grew up in a surf shop. Her critical and creative work can be found in Burnaway Magazine, voicemail poems, RHINO Reviews, and the Miami New Times, and has been supported by mentorship from O, Miami Poetry Festival and IS Projects/Nocturnal Press. She works for the Miami Book Fair.
