O, Miami at You Are Here: Poetry in Parks with Ada Limón

On Friday, January, 31st, join us at You are Here: Poetry in Parks, a project by 24th U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón. Hosted by Everglades National Park, this special event will include the unveiling of a site-specific poetry installation — a picnic bench inscribed with the poem "Ecology" by June Jordan.

Starting at 3pm, Limón will begin the ceremony with a poetry reading. After, O, Miami will join Limón, Aerie artist Arsimmer McCoy, and Allyson Gantt from Everglades National Park in a panel discussion about the intersection of art and nature, which will be followed by a book signing. Join us at the at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center for this inspiring afternoon of poetry and conservation!
